About
Zoe’s wish
Once upon, a time there was a little girl named Zoe blessed with parents
that have a bouncy business. One day, because she could bounce so much,
she wished that ”all kids could bounce all the time!” Of course,
we do our best in our everyday business to make sure kids all over the valley
bounce in a clean and safe bounce houses. But what about those with parents
who can’t afford a bounce house birthday package? How could we help
our little girl fulfill her wish? That is how we came up with Zoe’s
wish… a bounce house birthday party package for the children that
couldn't have one.
Here's
the deal.
We have decided to brighten the lives of less fortunate children with the
present of a birthday party package. We are not affiliated with any organizations
and hope that the community will answer the call and come together to help
us pinpoint and help the less fortunate among us. So this year (for starters)
we are going to dedicate one birthday party a month, free of charge, for
a selected child. The package will include a bounce house and a cotton candy
machine with 60 servings delivered to the child's address. We are not a
faceless corporation. Our names are Dino and Yvonne and you can reach us
anytime at (602) 481-5867 or email
us. Let's get involved as a community. A community always proves itself
to be a powerful force when stirred into action. Here is our opportunity
to use that power and do something really good.
Q. Do
you ever charge anything for these packages?
A. We are committed to 12 free of charge birthday packages
in 2010. If anyone wants to sponsor a child above and beyond our dedicated
parties, we will meet half way and absorb 50% of the cost ($100.00) and we
will do this 12 additional times. That is a donnation of $200.00 to $300.00
each month and a projected average of at least $3000.00 in 2009. Jump Around
is not a non profit organization. We do this to give back to the community.
Q. How do I nominate a child?
A. It is important, for the children we are committed to, that we
avoid scam artists of all kinds. We want our parties to be dedicated to the
less fortunate. Therefore, the only way to nominate a child is to do it through
a reputable organization.
Q. Does this mean a private citizen can’t contact you?
A. Unfortunately, we can’t donate through private
citizens. Next thing you know, everybody and there brother would try getting
a free party for themselves or relatives. However, if you know someone in
need, contact your church or the organization of your choice and have them
contact us. We will work out the details together.
Q. How far ahead do should we contact you?
A. Please be mindful. Remember birthdays are important. So
act as fast as you can so we can coordinate, schedule and help the parents
plan the event.
Q. How far do you deliver?
A. Because it is our first year doing this, we will limit
our deliveries to the East Valley of the Phoenix metro area (except a few
rare occasions). Next year, we are aiming for the entire Phoenix metro area.
Q. Can I give a gift?
A.You already have but if you feel compelled to give a physical
gift and you are not going to be at the party, we will pick it up and deliver
it for you.
Q. How long is the party?
A. We leave that up to the parents discretion. However, we usually
pickup about 6 hours later.
Q. I want to volunteer! How can I help?
A. Spread the word! The more people hear about us, the more donations
for the kids. If you want to help out the day of just show up and help at
the party.
Q. Can my church / organization nominate more than one child?
A. Yes, but each organization can only have one free party
and one half price. After that, they will have to sponsor at market value.
Businesses are expected to sponsor at market price and can write this off.
If you have any questions about how this works, please ask your tax advisor.
Q. I’m a corporation. How can I help?
A. Contact Dino or Yvonne. You can donate cash, gifts, or food, and
as an extra thank-you you will be recognize you on this page. We don’t
have corporate sponsorship program but we can discuss how you can help (602)
481 -5867.
Q. I’m a media person. Can I write a story about Zoe’s
Wish?
A. Yes! Contact Dino or Yvonne (602) 481 -5867 and we’ll help
with your story.
Q. I’m a children’s hospital. Can I get involved with
Zoe’s Wish?
A. Yes! Contact Dino or Yvonne (602) 481 -5867 and we’ll discuss
how Jump Around can help an unfortunate kid in such circumstances.
